What Is Mouse In Computer Devices?

Definition Of Mouse

Mouse is a pointing device, which works on the basis of X-Y direction by detecting motion relative to the surface. Who invented the mouse?

Mouse is basically called X-Y Position Indicator, which is used in Display System.

It was done by (1925 to 2013 ) in 1963 AD. He was an American Engineer and Inventor and a researcher at the Stand for Research Institute.

Douglas Engelbart created the first computer mouse, initially called the X-Y Position Indicator, which required both hands to use, but later some changes were made to it, after which it could be used with one hand. It was used in Xerox Alto Computer but that computer did not work much, after which Mouse was widely used in Apple Lisa computer.

When the cursor is moved towards an item on the computer screen and the pointer touches that item, a box appears, which tells us about that item. This whole action is called Pointing, this action is also known as Hovering.
