JavaScript is one of the essential languages to learn for a web developer. Along with HTML and CSS, JavaScript creates an interesting and dynamic user interface of the site.
Originally developed by Netscape in the mid-1990s as LiveScript. It was later renamed to JavaScript in 1995 and became an ECMA standard in 1997.
